Daniel Melvin was born and raised in Detroit Michigan. After spending time in the Marine Corps, Daniel worked in management at the Detroit branch of the U.S. Federal Reserve System for 11 years where he won, an unprecedented, two Presidential Achievement Awards, the highest award to be presented by the U.S. Federal Reserve System, as well as several other Awards of Achievement for his innovative, Creative and “Out of The Box” thinking which led to proposals that caused several departments within that branch and others across the country that followed suit, to become more cost and operationally efficient than they had ever been before.
