About Us
  • Daniel L. Melvin

Daniel Melvin was born and raised in Detroit Michigan.  After spending time in the Marine Corps, Daniel worked in management at the Detroit branch of the U.S. Federal Reserve System for 11 years where he won, an unprecedented, two Presidential Achievement Awards, the highest award to be presented by the U.S. Federal Reserve System,  as well as several other Awards of Achievement for his innovative, Creative and “Out of The Box” thinking which led to proposals that caused several departments within that branch and others across the country that followed suit, to become more cost and operationally efficient than they had ever been before.

Although Daniel was a natural when it came to out of the box thinking in areas of Growth and Development, his passion was and still is music, more specifically, singing.  Being raised in Detroit during the Motown explosion around the world, Daniel was literally able to learn and develop his talent with the help of some of the Legends of Motown.  The results of which was him being able to travel the world as a professional singer.

In 2001 Daniel and his wife Barbara, currently a Vice President Community Lender for First Florida Integrity Bank, moved to Florida where he continued singing while still becoming a successful, well publicized entrepreneur and an award winning Community involved partner & leader.   He’s been repeatedly written about in several of the local business and community magazines as well as The Naples Daily News who selected him as one of the Inaugural Winners of their Annual 25 over 50 Community Service Awards for his work and contributions to an array of non-profit organizations, as well as developing & mentoring young men and women who have interests and desires related to the performance and visual arts.

In 2014 Daniel started an annual fundraising drive called “Party With  A Purpose” through his for profit corporation, Most Romantic Voice Productions, LLC., of which he, his wife and an outstanding group of volunteers have successfully been able to raise funds to donate to a newly selected Non-Profit organization each year.  Organizations such as, the Hodges University Diversity Program, Dress for Success SW Florida and the NAACP ACT-SO Program.  Daniel has donated his services to other Non-Profits such as Baby Basics, Healthy Start, The Cancer Society, The National Association for Mental Illness and many more.  In addition to the many nonprofit organizations, Daniel and his wife were the Co-Chairs of the Night of Champions Awards Dinner for 2017 and will be in that roll again for 2018.  Now, Daniel has taken his annual fundraising event and its slogan, and formed a Not-For Profit Corporation called: The Party With A Purpose Foundation, Incorporated.  The newly formed Party With A Purpose Foundation, Inc. will be hosting the 2018 Party With A Purpose #5 event at the Naples Hilton on Saturday October 13th.

  • Testimonials

“Just wanted to take the time to let your organization know that what you do is absolutely amazing. The concept alone is an incredible one. Everyone wants to have a good time and enjoy themselves, why not do it for an organization who deserves a celebration for what it accomplishes and gives back to the community. Party with a Purpose does just that, by allowing fundraising that is fun and enjoyable, while bringing awareness to community organizations who need to support.

I have come on board because I strongly believe that so much more can be done in bringing attention to so many different levels of mental and cognitive disorders. My family is all too familiar with Alzheimer’s disease and Autism.  Party with a Purpose is bringing attention to organizations that are requiring more research, resources, education, and funding for an overwhelming majority of individuals that are fighting a hidden battle. A little bit of support goes a long way”.

I personally believe in the vision, mission, and purpose of our organization. What Daniel & Barbara have put together is phenomenal within itself. Being able to have a wonderful time & and party while serving a higher cause…”

  • Testimonials

“When Daniel first approached me about helping with his mission, I was beyond thrilled seeing firsthand the passion him and Barbara have for this community.

Knowing I had experience and extremely passionate myself, I accepted right away to become a board member for Party with a Purpose Foundation. I wanted to help them with their mission and help them make a difference within the community. Along with that, I felt an emotional connection to the mission and knew that I could help the overall sector with my experiences and skills. I love to volunteer because it teaches me something new about the community and people, about compassion and about helping others.

Most importantly, I want to be able to help and volunteer my time, be part of the community, make a difference and have fun with people that have the same passion and principles! I honestly don’t know how to live without giving back! We should all continue in some way to try to help others and support each other and I truly believe Party with a Purpose does!”
